I would have thought that there would have been a line down Herbert Street, or close to it

There used to be a line that came from the Wharf area and crossed over Preston Road about where the SPCA or treatment plant is now. Can't remember where it connected to but we had to stop to let the train go thru so it wasn't the tracks to the southern tip head.
