I remember being shown around a frigate by sailors about 1964, when it was on a tour of NZ. I think it may have been the Rotoiti. Just checked the number and it is the HMSNZ Rotoiti.

Ron Hibbs I remember being taken around this frigate also with my dad and brother Barry Baxter in 1964. It was really exciting, I can still remember the sailor in his uniform!

This was 62 my friend Dick Bishop was on it and that was the balloon hut on the rear that they were letting go for deep freeze
