About waste deep and all 3 are different temperature my first over nite Tramp when I was 9 with my family middle of winter ice on everything was a awesome trip I love tramping still today this was just the beginning

Nearly killed me tramping in, then snowed in for 2 days, no electricity, just candles and wine at night, bobbing around in the hot pools with snow all around during the day. Again one day.

No one ever posts pics of the rock bivvy just up from here...it used to have a set of hand made furniture in it... anyone got any pics??

Been up there, awesome spot, highly recommend the walk up to Douglas rock hut, amazing views of the river with huge house sized rocks in the middle of it. Would also recommend climbing up the the opposite side of the valley, just go directly across the river and follow the stream up, easy and fun climbing, great views and wide open snowfields with easy access to good game trails if you’re a keen hunter.
