Is that a n old Fairmille?, from our ww11 coastal patrols?. My dad was on these during the Pacific war, not a pleasant ,sea, boat.

Fairmiles were longer than this vessel Matthew. This is a Harbour Defence Motor Launch but didn't only stick to harbours.

Ted McCreath , yes ,dads boat seemed too be, maybe 80ft. He had,nt a lot of nice things too say. In heavy weather they required full ,"battened hatches" ,which fumigated the whole boat. They were ,English, Grey, diesels, slow and stinky!. Thank god the JAPS did,nt get here!!
