The building beside the church was moved to the river end of Revell st.

I went to Sunday school there to and I remember mrs Reynolds lighting the gas heaters on the walls with a paper straw. And I use to help out in the back of the church with the crèche when the parents were in church

i remember that hall, I went there for dancing lessons and I think that is the church my parents were married in.

The somewhat modified Methodist church hall is still in existence at a different site in Hokitika. I think my uncle Percy Goodfellow, a builder or his crew/former employees, demolished the old St Pauls Methodist Church. Percy and his wife Eva were part of the congregation and Percy did various maintenance work on the church over the years.

Heather Minol. I actually have several books which have photos of both the church and hall. Richard Waugh is the co author of two of these books and is extremely knowledgeable about this congregation and Wesleyianism in NZ and perhaps its origins overseas. I could message you his contact details if you want me to. Re recent photos of the former hall I'll take some photos and send them to you via Messenger if you would like me to.
