Such a lovely surprise to see a photo of my mother . Dulcie Pring. My mother talked about Miss Kelly . She thought she was a good teacher.I haven’t got any photos of my mother when she was young. Her foster sister is also in the photo. My grandmother had several foster children . Joyce was one of them . I think her surname was Aldridge.

The Faulkner and Anderson children's parents owned the local sawmill. I remember Pearl Heward nee Faulkner.

Glenn Johnston can you tell me the location of the sawmill? could be where we live now which was a Faulkners house 300 m up Omoto Rd

Joy Elaine Dense Yes it was just a wee way up Omoto Road and though owned by Faulkner and Anderson was called the Omoto Sawmilling Co. The mill is from well before my time but I have seen the location on old maps so yes in the vicinity of the house.
