Actually....the people maybe standing on section of what is now the Roddy nugget Cafe, building to the right being Bevernages old dairy .

The flat -nosed logging truck was the same model that Colin Detlaff of Ross used to drive for Houston's sawmill at the mouth of the Wanganui River, Harihari, to the Ross railway station. The drivers did two trips a day. The trucks were governed to approx. 25 miles an hour. The drivers started work at 6am and finished about 5pm. The drivers had to grease up their trucks each night before they came home. The roads were all gravel, narrow, and winding, with three wheel tracks. To pass, one vehicle had to pull over a bit out of the middle track.
