I stayed in Revingtons Hotel four nights every month for Business on the Coast in the early 60's. One time I got a bad case of food poisoning from their restaurant. which lead to the Dr, being called to treat me. I was moved to the Queens Room to recover. From
that day on that was my room in the Hotel...Sad to see it has been pulled down. But after living here in Sweden for over 35 years l can see it's days we're numbered, without lot of money being spent on restoration...

It states Camera shop from across the road. Wasnt Greymouth Motors across the road from that angle, the Ford Dealership? And directly across was the Post Office ?

I had a morris 1000 in the early 80s. So simple nothing much to go wrong on it

My first car was a 1936 Morris 8. Wire wheels and hydraulic brakes. Pretty flash.
