Brian Molloy As you probably know Brian, He lived with us after he returned home from the war until he got married. He was a good mechanic, particularly diesel. I spent most of my school holidays with your family at Moana and the best part was when I spent the days with him at work at Kotuku. He was taken too young.

Geoffrey Bell would I be right in saying he was one of the Coast's first Diesel Mechanics? I am sure Mum told me that but I am not sure how long ago diesel engines came in. Had he lived I don't doubt I would probably much more a racing cars man than chasing those bloody racehorses!

I was aware he lived with your guys Geoff and your brother Kevin tells me one of his earliest memories was of Dad walking around the side of the house when he arrived home from the war. And Mum always spoke of how perfect all Dad's clothing was when they set up home after getting married - a tribute to your Mum Auntie Janie (Bell)
