Stephen & Sons Ltd, Linthouse, Glasgow for the New Zealand Coastal Trade, but spent a most of her life on the coal trade from the West Coast Ports, with the arrival of the KAITANGATA, KAITAWA, KONUI, and the others in the late 1940,s, she was switched to the Australian Coastal Trade, mainly from Hobart in Tasmania to Sydney etc, Sold by the Union Co in 1960, but she retained her name, until 1964, when she was renamed TE PING (Taiwan) she was later scrapped at Keelung Taiwan in 1970. Gross Tonnage 2,498.
