DescriptionWith the flooding in Westport recently, it drew my mind back to Greymouth in the seventies. The mother in law was travelling from Temuka: started by bus to Rolleston, railcar to Otira, bus to Paroa, jigger to cross the flooded Paroa Creek before jumping in the car.
