My grandmother Lilian Rose Jackson (maiden name) born Greymouth 1890 was a Greymouth tailoress. She is the woman on the left in my photo. The other person is her sister.

Malcolm Gollan I don't know the answer to that. To me it doesn't look like my grandmother is in your photo. It would be interesting to know the exact year your photo was taken.

Glenn Johnston Thx. Unfortuntely the photo doesn't have a date on it. I'm guessing from the age of my great grandmother it would be closer to 1900 than 1910.

Marion Young, born 1884, middle row second from the right, came from Dobson and at the time the group photo was taken the family lived in Runanga. This picture was taken after 1915, the year she was married.
