AddBy: William Gray19th Aug 2021 3:22PMJust to put the record straight concerning these four photographs displayed here, they involve two different groundings, that is correct concerning the OMANA and KIWITEA groundings after the OMANA broke her moorings and collided with the KIWITEA. But photos No 2 and No 4 are of the GABRIELLA aground in the river also in the 1930,s with the KAIMAI alongside transferring cargo from the GABRIELLA, as seen in photo No 4 the Watersiders are returning to the wharf on the ANNABELLA after working on transferring the cargo from one to the other.
