I wonder how many of us had their hair cut in the earlier shop further North and on the other side of High Street? I can remember Murray starting his apprentice under Claude Henrey and having my hair cut by both of them.

Those guys were a year or two ahead of me but I can't remember any of the names of the ones not listed. One may have been a Prestige? Pretty sure the teacher was Jim Stuck. Related very well to his pupils and was very popular.
