AddBy: William Gray23rd Aug 2021 12:40PMThe post shown here is not related to this photograph once again it has been shifted from another photgraph a few pages back and planted here, i have decided its not worth the effort spending time researching and putting on the correct information for those who are interested in the said photograph. I always thought that was the idea to share the information, but it seems that is not the case which is a pity, So i won,t make the effort to post anymore information on this site. Sadly this not the first time this has happened, and it looks like its going to continue.
By: Laura Mills22nd Aug 2021 8:25PMAfter pondering and doing some research, i have managed to put names too these four ships. 1st TAUPATA built 1930, Anchor Co, 2nd MERNOO, owned by the Melbourne Steamship Co Melbourne, 3rd KIWITEA Union Co. 4th GABRIELLA. R.S. Lamb Sydney, although they were taken over by the Union Co in 1930. The MERNOO always loaded timber here for Australia, and traded here in the 1930,s.
