DescriptionIn 1953 Dorothy Haldane was murdered at Reefton Station this statue is what she gave to my Dad to who she was engaged to marry on his 21st birthday 29/09/1951. The late Dorothy Haldane was my babysitter for my mum and dad , I was born in Reefton 1953 so was a young baby at the time . My late mum told me later in life about this terrible tragedy unfolding in Reefton
