That was the new Cobden Dump - the old dump was near the end of Bright Street

That dump should never have been put there . The old story dump it in Cobden the one at the end of bright st should not have been there either. Then they had one on Monahans paddocks on the right going towards the beach. All the shops used it .

I can remember when it was down by the cobden island. The smell.

My brother was a good dump rat. Brought home some good finds.

when our children were small they loved walking down to dump with their Grandad to look for treasures lol which included much to our sons delight a sheep skull with teeth which promptly went " missing " when he went to School . To see it now is a hidden gem , its so beautifully restored thanks to all the hours put in by Volunteers
