Leo Fisher - can still see uncle bill rendering down the offcuts to get the dripping and filling 44 gal drums with it to send away the big white pine block to cut the meat up on.

Thought it looked like Burrows’ Family Butcher @ Totara Flat. Used to get sheep, sides of beef @ pork processed there for freezing. A great service!!

We lived just down the road and had lots 2 do with the burrows family. Our children played with there's. Corrie and I whitebaited of the policemen rock Cobden side in the Grey River. We also used 2 run 2gether.

My parents always stopped there to get a big lot of sausages on their way back from the coast to Kaikoura
