Hi Kay or Sarah Kay wasn't it? Yes that is the school council. Think I was secretary of the council and chairman of the social committee that year.

Trish Barry Andrews We usually called her Kay but I have a memory she would sometimes write her name as Sarah Kay. A niece of hers ended up working for the same forestry company I did in the NI at one stage.

Glenn Johnston I recognise Kay now. Hmmm and yes Miss Samuel's now you mention her. Very kind lady. 75 was a dreadful year, I cant remember being elected, or much else after April to be fair.

Westland High School Council 1975. President: 1st term only Dan Little and then Donald Thorn for rest of year. Treasurer: Richard Thomas, Secretary: Glenn Johnston. As head of the social committee I remember being told by one teacher that I shouldn't be running things at a profit but my reply was that it was to make future events bigger and better and we were allowed to open a bank account to hold built up funds.

Yeah some of the long hair including mine looks terrible. Two years earlier I got a short back and sides for a bet when someone reckoned I wouldn't but it looks like I let it grow again after that. John Donkers hair is something to behold.
