About this image
DescriptionIts a bit strange or scary to begin thinking of myself as "historical". But they were good years, and Greymouth was a very nice town in which to grow up. A lot of very good people there. Remarkable thing is that I can still probably name most of children in this photo of 60 years ago.

41 kids! The hard working teacher was probably being paid little more than 500 quid fo that huge responsibility. Come on then David Rodgers give us the names please. I did the same for my Grey Main Form 2 of 1950 (see earlier posting) and have never forgotten the names!!

Yep Jack was my Grandfather, 100 High St. David, my father is 2 in from the right in the 3rd row, of my photo, he had round shaped glasses like the fellow in the middle of the back row in his earlier years, (same pic).
