Good one Maurice that is our house in the pic which was the original police station in dunollie bob unwins house in the back and Patterson's house on the right.

Another miner Robert Gore also died in this accident. The Mine was called Boote and party by some and Braehead by other. Much later Braehead started a new Mine at 8 mile but it never went long. The clean air people in chch didnt like 8 mile coal.
