Where on Buller Road was the "Clarion"? Was it where the "Arms" was?

The Criterion was The Arms - name change.

Did the theatre ever sell? My son and I looked at it but it needed just too much to do. Was a bargain for somebody 2 years ago.

My great grand parents Arthur & Emily Brooks were proprietors of the Criterion in the early 1900s, they later ran the Duke of Edinburgh hotel in Greymouth as well as other hotels in Reefton, Ahaura & Dixon House Greymouth
