I was fortunate enough to travel behind this loco down to Hokitika and up to Rapahoe from Greymouth over the old wooden trestle bridge, in the late 1980's.

W 192 is the first built steam engine in nz. built at Addington work shops. Currently she lives at ferrymead historic park Christchurch.

Alex Wn More correctly the first LOCOMOTIVE built by NZR. Scott brothers (CHCH) D class at least were earlier.
