DescriptionI often wondered why Bert Stuart changed the name of his mine, last night a Rapahoe mate showed me a map with the Cliffdale mine. It was easy to find as its right on the road. There is another tunnel above that goes to the same place.It`s small and maybe a exploratory hole.It`s much steeper than the bigger bottom one and goes to the dip quick.It`s now full of water.It went from 1943 to 1951 I had looked up the steep cliffs behind with the aid of some heavy ropes left there by the herb growers of years gone bye,without any luck.Date of Photo1943 - 1951Map^[1]ContributorMoe Bowes
