DescriptionToday all that marks the old school site is a rhododenron tree up the Whangapeka Valley.

Ray Douglas - This is my family they are talking about here. Henry Douglas and Sid Kees Snr were coal miners in Runanga , and both came to Wangapeka about the same time.
