I can just see my grandparents house in Revell St, was built in the early 1900s or even earlier by my great grandfather, I think.

Gill Smeltzer yes the house that is the longest in that block. Away in caravan just cruising at the moment. Just what was needed. Currently in mokinanui at the Beach. Had a day at Dennistin mine in westport. It was great. Barry away mtn biking today and I'm walking,painting and reading.

Jeanne Godfrey Weather must be nice for you...we are in Texas at Megan's...meant to be warmer but it's pretty chilly right now. When you pass through Granity, the Power grandparents lived on the highway...it's been pulled down and another built there...has elephants or whales painted on the fence! When we were over there we went by it and stopped to reminisce and the lady living there came out and chatted, so Pam gave her a history of the old house and what we used to do there on our holidays!!
We drove up to Denniston too...Steve does not care for heights so didn't stay long. Sounds like you're having a nice time camping...you heading to Richmond at all? We don't go out much with all this Covid and Omicron around...we wear our masks if we're grocery shopping or lots of people around. Stay safe but have fun.

No Nelson this trip dwn to hoki to Lois and kev at camp. Hayden and family there to for few days at Lk Kaniere with boat.

Can see my grand parents old house and coal yard, that my parents bought from them later, white picket fence, big white house on the river side of Cass Square, across from the playground. House now replaced with a lovely modern house and my sister owns it. My mother lives in a unit on the property and makes jokes about living almost her entire life on the corner of Hall and Weld Street.
