DescriptionI knew I had these photos of John Payn the lawn mowing man at Greymouth's Karoro Cemetery somewhere. John was also very obliging when it came to finding your family for you. So very sad , I heard about his passing while preparing mums funeral from Laurie Anisy. Such a shock the cemetery won’t look as pristine anymore he always went above & beyond in his job. A huge loss

Before I put up my original post a few years back I had told John when I took these photos just how much his work at the cemetery was appreciated by those on Facebook. John would be chuffed but embarrassed at the number of kind messages to him at this time.
