That was a long stint from Doug Moore! Involved with I/Basketball for at least 35 years. I was Secretary of the Assc for a couple of years when Doug was Chair and know how involved he was.

Thanks Kevin- didn’t know the Jubilee was bring held. I’m 84 so wouldn’t know anyone else attending although there are at least 3 people in the above 1959 phone that are still alive and kicking! Good luck with the Jubilee - 50 years is a long time.

Maureen Sadler Hi Maureen- well 84 may not be as old as 100 but it sure ain’t young!! I took the easy way out - when i hit 84 I ceased looking in the mirror!! So I still feel young !!!!

I remember that Hall on the Rec. and the squeezy court with hardly enough room on the sides. It was the old United Rugby home I think. I also remember playing at the Army Hall and then the new sports centre which finally was sizeable enough for everything. I have a memory of Tony Waller, 6'3", the accountant at Nicolls North Nicolls playing there, as well as many others, all tall men with no room to move.
