DescriptionI was recently given a map drawn from memory by GS Armstrong who done it in 1944 and was able to find what I think is Briandale n/o 7. The map says ariel mine so does my book But found a special box they had made and a gig so wonder if it might of been ariel from mine to gig head. Its dated 1931 and is high up the hill, you can look across at Kiwi mine but its a bit further upstream than Kiwi. I will have to spend a day up there soon.Its great to find one like this that I dont think has been seen for a long time.Date of Photoca.1944.Map^[1]Contributor Moe Bowes

Michael Higson Yeah Mike sometimes it surpises you after all the yrs. I dont think many have been there as there was a roll of copper wire at the mine. Any fish.
