NOT 60's, Shanty town didn't open till Feb 1971 ( although work was in progress for a year or two before that,).

That's Correct helped clearing the Scrub etc in the Weekend's.Also did a bit of Labour in the Building of the Pub.Great Days always a Labour of Love.

Spent many an enjoyable Saturday working bee building the Golden Nugget Hotel with the Greymouth Jaycees prior to the opening.Great guys great days.Sadly a lot of the people have passed on.RIP.
