Possibly Langdon's ferry property -12 Mile Landing.

Description Below is a photo of another home from the Smithers collection, I assumed that this was at the later ‘Twelve Mile Landing’ aka ‘Langdon’s Ferry’ property, the Langdons aquired the land in the late 1860s and had moved there by 1870 at latest.

So to my knowledge there was the first house in Maori Gully, then another at Langdon's Ferry and one of them was given over for a period to Patience and Tom Smithers Jr after their marriage where they lived for a few years until late in the decade when they moved to High Street.

I have some postcards addressed to Mrs Smithers at 'Arnold' in Maori Gully in the early 1910s. I am not sure which house was named that. Now I've seen these new images it's possible that 'Arnold' was Tom Sr and Louisa Smithers' home.Map^[1]ContributorDarian Zam
