DescriptionWe do know he was a mate of Jum Michel, the son of Hokitika's mayor Henry Michel and they went boating together. The era was the late 1920s to late 1930s.
Names included were:
Jim Houston (James Robert Alexander Houston, Westland), Neville Longford (Neville Langford, Westland), Bob Grant (Robert Steel Grant, Westland), Bob Huxford (Robert Short Huxford, Westland), Keith Hamilton (Keith Goldie William Andrew Hamilton, Westland), Norrie Nutting (Naurice Desmond Nutting, Westland). That's what the crew called themselves.

I just wanted to showcase the series of photos I posted to Recollect about 4 years back now. The album went up for sale on Trade Me in sections and loose pages, it had probably fallen apart.
Never did figure out who the owner was although there were literally so many clues to his identity, including colleagues, friends, and many power plant locations. I cobbled together a collage once I figured out who he was, mostly by mentions of 'me' and 'myself' etc in the captions, and gradually eliminating everyone else.
