Kathleen Ina (Fisken) McIntyre died Greymouth. 15th July 1991
Kathleen was born in Gore in the deep south on the 17th of May 1911 to Peter and Mary Ellen Fisken who farmed at Knapdale. Her and a girl friend came to Greymouth in the mid 1930s on a working holiday and was working as a waitress at the Club Hotel on Mawhera Quay which was when she met Thomas Malcom McIntyre.
They married in her home town of Gore 14th Sept 1940. On 12th of May 1942 the first child was born, being Brian and followed by Mary on her fathers birthday on the 1st of May 1945 and Kevin in Jan 1949.

My father (Len (Mick) Jarden)spent a lot of time voluntarily working on the Greymouth Trotting track with Tom and many a good cuppa and chat was had at their home at the park....
