Karen Peters Jean Spindeler built the Crown Hotel on the south western side of the corner between Main and Seddon Sts. This photo is looking south along the road now known as Greenstone Rd. The other way to confirm this is the slight hill at the far end of the road.

Lived in Kumara on corner of Main st and Tui st for my childhood and until I got married. But still cannot think where Bell St was. We lived opposite old Kumara post office

never heard of bell street most where second, third, and fourth st, seddon and tui st, then main road and greenstone road . but what was the road that went through kumara called? mmmm i getting old now lol. We lived in boundry road up on the hill
