Use to walk up to Rewanui site as a young man in the 90,s before the big slip. Got the old coal wagon s moving back and forward look around the old work shop s with all the tools it use to look like everyone walked off and down tools gone it was like a museum real interesting coast history l gone

Lol nice one of Dad hiding he use to come home covered in coal and sit in his chair that was as black as he was but that was his spit and us kids never went near it poor mum washing those clothes in the old wringer . One of us kids would be turning the handle of the old wringer between the tubs and then she would hang them up on the old prop line .
