Actually that was opposite Rellings and yes they moved it .My first day as a 5 year old there i was scared whole school in one room big form 2 blokes..I wanted to go the loo but had heard there were possums in the long drop outside ..so guess what ...next minute Jimmy Mc Mahon yells out Trish has wet her pants...mm mum picked me up and guess what 68 years later Im still at school every single day !!!!

Pauline O'Regan told me she went to school there - was a "pupil teacher" in her later years there. (Long before she became a Sister of Mercy and became head of Villa Maria College in ChCh, as well as many other achievements.)

I went to Cronadin scholar for a while after the Landing school closed and Ted my brother was my teacher He said I was the worst pupil he had and when he would tell me off I would go home and tell Dad then he would tell Ted off lol.At one stage Dan my other brother was a relieving teacher there(there were Two classrooms)and Ted would send me into Dans classroom for time out.When Dan asked me what had I said or done this time my standard answer was NUFFIN.it wasn’t as if I was real naughty but had trouble with having to call them MR instead of Ted n Dan as we all lived in the same house lol.we had sports days with Inangahua school n they mixed us up into to 2 teams called Inangadun and Cronahua..
