Love this!❤️Pete loved his job on the Wharf and driving Westfleet's truck between Jackson Bay, Greymouth, Westport and Nelson.

I drove for Westland Processors/WestBay ,and had some awesome times with Pete and Tommy on the wharf unloading boats ,hard work and good humor

My first job unloading was with Pete and Eddie brown, they would both be the best guys to work under ive ever had, nothing seemed to be a problem, no ranting or tantrums. Rare breed for back then.Lance Neame
My first real job was at Westfleet. Helping to head Ling to begin with and then unloading boats. Working with Kevin Farmer, Peter Crampton, and Eddie Brown.
Also can't forget Graeme, Graeme Cameron!
Ray Burrell and 'Radar' Kevin Devlin in the Workshop.
And Tommy Wright running the processing side in the factory.
While Briggsy had the top spot in the building, and hierarchy!

Not the easiest work, but an amazing team to work with!
I am thankful of having the opportunity to work with such a good crew, and learned alot.
It has been a good grounding in real work.
