she was rumored to be a Spanish dancer in the dance halls in Hokitika, but her parents and grandparents are both from England. I have also done a DNA test and nothing from Spain or middle east came up in it.

I did find a Burrell at one stage who was from I think Barbados or a county similar..and my gut said I should try and follow up on that person..but I haven't as yet. I'll have to wait untill u can renew my ancestors membership to do so.

My maiden name was Burrell. I went to St Mary's Girls High Greymouth with Lynette Burrell. My brother went to Grey High and was a good rugby layer, Dad was in the Police and we lived in the flat above the Police Station.

Malcolm Lutton my zUncle Ron (Ronald) was in the army. He spent some time at Burnham Camp. When my daughter was stationed at Burnham she was in a promotion ceremony and some of the Officers took my Uncle for a tour around the base, as my daughter had invited him along as well as a guest.
