I think that the mine bins were built in the early 1920’s

this photo must be one of the earliest taken of the bins.note the bins are incomplete and there is no sign of the gantry above the main road. also what appears to be the original rail station on the right which is about 800 metres north of the one that was there when I worked there loading the rail wagons until the mine closedElaine Lawson Stone
We lived on the main road opposite the railway station in later years. Busy days then.
