It was one of the first economic shell type 300 psi boilers to operate at that pressure in NZ it could produce approximately 10,000 pounds of steam an hour the high pressure was to get the steam to a higher temperature for the manufacture of drying milk powder.

One of many boilers manufactured by Anderson in Christchurch throughout the years. Anyone know where this one ended up in Hoki maybe the Dairy Company before Westland?
