DescriptionI recently purchased some old 8mm film's this one is from around the 1950's in Greymouth I was wondering if anyone recognize's any one in these pic's there is a name on the reel case.

Heather Newby Cameron’s, some of them. At least early 1960s as I was born 1957. Who were they purchased off? Dad was a photographer and took a lot film and photos of us. Unfortunately, after we moved to Christchurch, they were all stolen. What a shock seeing these.

Funny you say that. I actually thought it was your dad and certainly looks like you but was unsure of Christine and Doc as the photo of all 3 of you isn’t as clear close up . How cool.

Sue Vaughan it sure would. We were all very upset loosing these precious memories. Dad even did some trick photography, Doc did a magic show and dad cut and spliced to make it really look like magic

Sue Vaughan I do actually, like to try and artsy pics went I went into the airforce, I was training yo be a photographer after being a driver for a while, but hit out early to go to the States when I got married. lots of places in New Plymouth to take good pics

Speaking of Holmes Retreat there did used too be such a place where the family gathered each summer for a family picnic and there was a pet eel us kids used to feed in the river my grandad named it Holmes Retreat Auntie Ann got a great memory Robyn Pearl
