Dad taught at Blackball School and so did Mum. I was looked after by a Mrs Grey or Gray. I liked her. She let me have raspberry fizzy which I was not normally allowed.
Mum made all our matching dresses. They had stiffened skirts. I love the little shoulder bags my big sisters are carrying. I wish I had one.
