Photo date is not later than 1 July 1925 when the new national plates came out, but not earlier than 1923 going by the Dodge and Rugby cars on the right. The Chevrolet and Buick on the left are earlier models from the late teens.

In 1949 my Dad bought his first car, an Austin A40 from Baty Brothers. His brother, Alex King, was their head mechanic. We had no garage at the hotel so the cars garaginging was at Baty's.
