DescriptionThe young man’s spinal cord was severed, and he is undergoing physiotherapy. He is paralysed from the waist down, and may be bedridden for life. An appeal is being launched for him in Reefton.

Very sad occasion. He was in our class at high school. My memory he recovered wheel chaired paraplegic and was still around Reefton some years later.
