Community picnics were a regular occurrence post WW2. The Kotuku residents were no exception in participating in these outings. This photo shows my father, Colin Bell, adding a little 'tot' to his cup of tea from the boot of his Vauxhall 14. Paddy Brereton's Vanguard can be seen next to him.
