On her famous entry in to the Port of Greymouth under full sail she was under the command of Capt Proctor who had his wife and son onboard, her cargo consisted of machinery and hardwood, her outward cargo was timber for Sydney. Having been sold in 1922 she became a coal hulk in Sydney, July 1947 saw her sunk of Barwon Heads so ended the life of the WHITE PINE, the coast to build her in 1879 was 7,071 pounds.
