Correct. Grafton Athletic was an Auckland club during and after WWI. It seems this team made a visit to Monica Park, which opened in Woolston, Christchurch, in 1925. The ground was renamed Athletic Park after WW2 but sold off for housing and as part of Linwood High School's playing fields about 1950 when the Canterbury RL became the winter tenant at the Addington Show Grounds.ContributorMelanie Ramsden
