DescriptionThis was me top of Arthur's Pass looking back towards the West Coast and wondering when I will return home to it. Was 1988. Just on my way to Australia. Took about 20 years before I got back there with my 13 year old son. Show him where I lived in Reefton as a child. Hokitika where I lived and worked in the 80s and other places I remember as a child. A bach at Maybelle bay (long gone now. But the fishing platform in the rocky outcrop was still there) Soldiers Rd where we lived and right up past the Cooks farm where as cubs we camped at a scout hall. That was the den past Sid Provis and amongst the gum trees on the terrace with a little creek close by.

Arthur Bass yes quite correct Arthur. Swam in the creek as well. Think just past there starts climbing up to merrijigs
