Joy Meyer wrong person and place. This was on Weld St next to Thomas Bros Garage. Rob and Gloria had it.also, hair oil was black sauce!

Joy Meyer that was when Charlie had the piecart, he would ask that!! Best pea, pie, spud ever tasted, was my treat Fri night's with my dad, great fish'n chips after the movies and when we left the pub, to walk home, memories r awesome!!

Used to work there for robbie. I remember the pie cart well. My mum and I having a drink at the Westland then going there and Charlie taking off leaving me to cook.. it was such a fun time.. I could be there till 1 or 2am.

I recall Coggy flicking a dead possum into the vat when Charlie was asleep in his chair with a hole in his apron where the cigarette had fallen out of his mouth and burnt through it . And Jim Howat hookin the cart up to his old 53 chev and towed it off down the road which pulled all the electrics out of the pole box. could write a book about that place .

One of Charlie’s great sayings was Chocolates for the Girls Lollies for the Boys.
The story goes that a couple of Guys went in the Pie Cart one Night and asked Charlie if he had a couple of Tyre Levers to Change a Tyre,and he said Hair Oil Boys,and they didn’t have a clue what he was talking about.
