DescriptionI would love to see what this church looks like on the inside, would someone please post some photos for, me. Also from the outside on a sunny day. Were there any photos taken when this church was opened? Has there been any published history on this church? Or a copy of a programme taken on celebrations of St Annes.

We used that for the first class of form5 in 1969 when the become south Westland aera school

I have done a book on this church. Owen Tomasi re-done all of the seats inside which was a big job. The book has all about its history. Many photos in it. The local Priest has this book at present. I will get it off him and come to you

Ann and I got married in the church 50 years ago in April, looked pretty good on the inside then

I made my first holy communion and confession here. In 1992 Trevor and I were married here. Our daughter Kate was christened here in 1996. Dad had his funeral service here. It is the church we worshiped at throughout our childhood.
A very special place.

Mum was just telling me that a vagabond lived in the roof of the church for about 10 days. They had service's not knowing he was there. Not sure of the year.

That so called vagabond lived in the roof of the church for seven and a half years of his own admission. While the priest and a few of us heard sounds we thought it was a possum. It was terrible for us all when we found out about this man. Let me tell you this was terrible for all of us. To think some one would be so dishonest like he was. There is more to this than people know. Who would ever have thought some thing like this would happen.
